Satu lagi rekomendasi tempat wisata dariku nih. Kalo udah bosen liat pantai, pantai, dan pantai di Lombok ini, gak da salahnya mengunjungi daerah pegunungan, salah satunya Senaru. Senaru yang berarti Sinar Aru merupakan sebuah desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Bayan Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Desa Senaru terletak di kaki Gunung Rinjani dan merupakan salah satu pintu gerbang pendakian Gunung Rinjani.

Mataram is the capital of Lombok. The town actually consists of four different towns Ampenan, Mataram, Cakranegara (Cakra) and Sweta. Ampenan has most of city sights, including Negeri Nusa Tenggara Barat museum, which gives a good overview of the culture of Lombok. Cakra is the best place for eating, sleeping and shopping. It also has the Water Palace, which is worth a visit and the largest temple of Lombok, Meru Purse. Mataram is the administrative centre and Sweta the transport connection of the whole island.

Okey guys...now I will tell u about art performance ...but still in Lombok, hehehe...! Very interseting to know about culture in our country. And this is one of them...and it's called Gendang Beleq.

Gendang Beleq is one of the specific art performance in Lombok. Gendang means drum and Beleq means big. In this music we will see dancer bring the big drum.

Mount Rinjani

Last week, my boyfriend's cousin and friends trekked Mount Rinjani. He said that its awesome. He was ever visited Lombok before, backpacking, he went to Gili Trawangan (and camping in there), Senggigi Beach, Senaru, and then went to Bali. He said wanna back early to Lombok for trekking Mount Rinjani, and he did it last week. But he didnt had time to visited me...hahaha...! But he sent me some photos

It make me wanna write something...about Mount Rinjani. So, lets we see...

The legend of Mountain Rinjani

Mountain Rinjani is the third highest mountain in Indonesia (3,720 m), save one of the many mysteries of the existence of which the goddess Anjani. According to the faith community around, Anjani goddess ruler is Queen of the mountain Rinjani. They believe that Anjani goddess born from the marriage with a man Goddess Sasaknese Lombok, a certain kind of face is still beautiful and the descendants of King Selaparang. To honor Anjani goddess, the public often holds a religious ritual ceremonies on the mountain Rinjani and Segara Anak Lake, with the release of fish-small fish made of gold thin to Lake Segara Anak.

Talk about Lombok Island is never ending...not only beach, beach n beach....but also the culture, sociality, or maybe food. now i wanna talk about food guys...yummy...make me hungry in this morning...hahaha...

One that the tourists should try when traveling to Lombok is the traditional food named Ayam Taliwang and Plecing Kangkung. Both of Ayam Taliwang and Plecing Kangkung was made by a family who live at Karang Taliwang. They are Haji Murad and his wife, Salmah, who introduced the recipe at the beginning of the beginning of 1940.

I wrote about Gili Nanggu three months ago but its in Indonesian. Now I wanna tell U bout this beautiful place in English. Check it out ^_^

21 Maret 2010 lalu aku sama teman2 kantor mengunjungi salah satu gili yang ada di Lombok...Gili Nanggu...tepatnya di Lombok Barat. Untuk mencapai gili kita harus menggunakan perahu. Pulau seluas 12,5 Ha di barat Lombok ini dikelola dengan konsep Forest/Virgin Island, sehingga masih memiliki alam yang asri dan alami.
Ketenangan dan keasriannya menjadikan Gili Nanggu sebagai tempat kunjungan rutin banyak tamu mancanegara. Gili Nanggu dijuluki: Paradise Island. Kalo pengen cari tempat yg indah dan tenang buat refreshing di Lombok, Gili Nanggu bisa jadi salah satu alternatif. Pulau kecil (Gili-dalam bahasa Sasak) ini memiliki pantai dengan pasir putih yang indah.

Kita bisa keliling gili dengan jalan kaki...yaaaa sedikit pegel gak apa2 lah...cukup memuaskan. Pas kita kesana lagi ada syuting buat acara Laptop Si Unyil...ternyata acara yg cuma berdurasi 30 menit tu proses syutingnya lama jg ya...hehe. Anak-anak Gili Nanggu yg ikut dalam syuting tersebut kelihatan seneng bgt, tetep ceria walaupun mungkin capek seharian syuting.

Untuk mengisi libur natal kemarin, hari Kamis tanggal 24 Desember 2009, aku dan teman2 pergi berpetualang ke Pantai Surga. Pantai ini terletak di Lombok Timur. Aku, Dela, Mz Ijal, Romy, Fuad dan Fithron memulai perjalanan dari Mataram jam 9.30 WITA. Perjalanan yang kami tempuh cukup melelahkan, apalagi kami belum pernah ada yang kesana sehingga harus nanya2 di tengah perjalanan.
